Movement with Merak
Things have been moving quickly with Merak, and I can’t help but feel energised by it all. My ‘first edition’ run of clothing has just come back from the printers, and holding the finished pieces in hand is surreal — an idea that lived in sketches and conversations has now become something real, ready to be worn and shared. At the same time, I’m shaping the shooting schedule for the campaign, pulling together people, stories, and places that capture the rawness and sincerity at the heart of Merak.
What excites me most is how the creative process builds its own momentum. By leaning into this work, new doors have started to open. A producer recently reached out about developing cooking content — something that feels like a natural extension of Merak, bringing food and storytelling into focus in fresh ways.
It’s a reminder that putting energy into creative work doesn’t just bring projects to life, it sparks connections and opportunities I never could have planned for. From clothing to campaigns to kitchens, Merak is moving forward, and I can’t wait to share what comes next.
