There’s a bloke I follow on Instagram. Always well dressed, moving differently to anyone you see day to day around town. I’ve chatted with Kurtis here and there on socials, and he’s always said to stop by and say hello if I ever see him.

The other morning around 8am, on my way up to work, I spotted him setting up one of his usual phone-shot reels. I had my camera gear with me, so I walked over, introduced myself properly, and asked if he’d be open to letting me shoot him.

He was generous with his time and genuinely kind. This is what came out of that moment.
